What was the first use of the term “Cloud Computing” ?

According to Regalado (2011), in 1996, within the offices of Compaq Computer, a group of technology executives was envisioning the future of the Internet business, coining the term “cloud computing.” They predicted that all business software would eventually shift online, and that “cloud computing-enabled applications,” such as consumer file storage, would become commonplace.

George Favaloro stands with a 1996 Compaq business plan, which contains the earliest known reference to the term “cloud computing.”
